Quo Vadis Habanna 'smooth' notebook

I've had it for quite a while, but I never really used it. I tried it today, and I must say this: the 'smooth' in the name of this model isn't a lie!

It's a pocket size notebook (10*15 cm/ 4*6 Inches ), like most of my notebooks, though it's a little too big to throw in a pants or shirt pocket.

Here in Belgium, Quo Vadis isn't as widely available as in the US. But one day I found a set of two in a French Stationery store, and I didn't hesitate to buy them! In the early days of the Ink Nouveau, (Brian Goulet's youtube channel, yes Brian from Gouletpens) mr Goulet did some very nice reviews about the Quo Vadis Habanna notebooks, which are the hardcover version of this one. In this review he stated that the paper of these notebooks is very smooth, and overall, very high quality!

Well, Mister Goulet didn't lie! the paper is very smooth indeed. And what's even better: it's very thick, so it won't bleedtrough, even showtrough is very limited, I have no problem writing on both sides in this notebook!
very little showtrough!

There is only one minor issue I'm currently having with this notebook: because of the flexible  faux-leather cover. (It's not a hardcover though!) The cover is a more flexible (though also more dureable) in comparison to normal cardboard covers, so when you lay it flat on the table, it does not stay flat. And when you close it, it doesn' really stay closed. But I don't think that's a big deal though.

I don't know what price I paid for it back then, but I think they were actually quite cheap, considering the surprisingly good quality!

    1. Yes it is a really good one! The hardest part will probably be finding them, at least that's the case here in Belgium!
