Pelikan Wanderbox

Recently, I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of four people to start the new Wanderlust project from Pelikan. For the people who don't know what Wanderlust is, you can go check it out over at the Pelikan website. It's a project Pelikan Started to encourage people from all over the world to write letters. The first edition officially ended a couple of weeks ago. It consisted of three boxes, each with a different Edelstein ink, that travelled across the world along a planned route.
This year, Pelikan decided to release four wanderboxes, without a designated route. The idea is to write a letter, and hand over the box to a fellow pen enthousiast, someone you know and trust.
As I said, I was chosen as one of the first people to receive one of the wanderboxes, and in these pictures I took, you can see how my letter took form!
The ink inside my box is their new Edelstein Ink of the year: Amethyst. It's a lovely dark aubergine/ purple color. I wrote my letter using the Pelikan M805 Stresemann fountain pen (Medium nib) that I got on loan from Pelikan. The paper I used is the Original Crown Mill 135gsm ivory white correspondence paper I reviewed a couple of weeks ago.

At the bottom of the page, you can find scans of the complete letter. I don't usually write that much letters, but I hope you like what I came up with anyway. There are no rules about how or what you should write in your letter, so I decided to write about myself, my passion for pens and my blog.
This week, my wanderbox will head towards it's next temporary owner, if you want to follow the journeys these boxes make, be sure to follow the #wanderbox on various social media!
