And want a quality one. I have a variety of pens from very the expensive Pilot Custom Urushi 845, to more basic steel nib pens. In a fast paced office, I need a stiff nib, that I can take quick notes with, without bearing down and damaging a fine gold nib. There are medium range Viscontis that fill that bill,Robert Gnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1464420217161399373.post-26846755688977296412020-11-11T11:39:21.481+01:002020-11-11T11:39:21.481+01:00I have no experience with the Lucina, but I'd ...I have no experience with the Lucina, but I'd say they look to be two very different pens. The Lucina is much smaller (hence, why a con-70 doesn't fit), and the styling is very different. In terms of writing experience, both offer a steel nib, so I assume they'll offer similar performance. The Pencilcase Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09609166341598339091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1464420217161399373.post-90951216517188287582020-11-11T11:36:26.024+01:002020-11-11T11:36:26.024+01:00The problem is not wether or not the NS is good va...The problem is not wether or not the NS is good value in an absolute sense. Compared to other brands it offers a very decent value and quality, but it's a bit too boring to really stand out. The bigger problem is that Pilot makes it hard for themselves to make the NS look competitive. Even within Pilot's own range there are pens that outperform it - A quick google search gets you a The Pencilcase Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09609166341598339091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1464420217161399373.post-35051178504500153712020-11-10T06:42:11.649+01:002020-11-10T06:42:11.649+01:00How does this compare to the Pilot Lucina? Pelikan, Franklin Christoph, Edison among others all have steel nib pens at this or higher price points and nobody bats an eye. To me, it looks like Pilot made a nice quality pen at a fair price comparable to their competition.
