I try to do a giveaway whenever there's something that needs celebrating, and boy there's stuff to celebrate right now: The Pencilcase Blog turned 3 last month, and our Instagram page passed the 5k followers milestone! That's what I call reason to celebrate, so let's do just that!

With the help of my lovely sponsors Appelboom, La Couronne Du Comte, Penworld and Fontoplumo, I planned a series of giveaways in the upcoming weeks, with well over 500 dollars worth of prizes to give away! Sound good? Well let's get to it then!

  32. My favorite nib size (or so I thought) was fine or extra fine, until I got to try a medium nib on a Nemosine pen. Now I'm equally happy with any nib size!

  34. When I was in college (many, many moons ago) it was considered something of an affectation to have fountain pens. Allowed in my case only because I was an 'artist'. Now, my daughter is in her thirties and is a writer and she finds that pens a re a big, big deal. She lives in NYC and says that people judge you by your pen.
